Killswitch Engage, Trivium, Hatebreed, Asking Alexandria, and Atilla set to Rock Dirt Fest 2016

On Friday April 22nd, Matt Dalton, owner of Dirt Fest and 37 Studios, announced this years killer lineup and headliners for Dirt Fest 2016. Killswitch Engage, Trivium, Hatebreed, Asking Alexandria, and Atilla, are set to rock, the one day heavy metal festival Pontiac, Michigan, to the core on August 13, 2016.

After 18 years, Dirt Fest moved from Birch Run, Michigan to the larger venue at the Crofoot Festival Grounds in downtown Pontiac, Michigan. Which is probably a good thing considering with the amazing headliners Dirt Fest has put together. Last year Psychostick, and Flint, Michigan's Metalcore band It lies Within put on an amazing show at Dirt Fest 2015, and are scheduled to return again, along with Walls of Jericho, Bury Your Dead, Wilson, Soil, and Beyond Threshold.

Killswitch Engage and Hatebreed are both making headlines and rocking the charts with their new albums. Killswitch Engage's album "Incarnate" is currently number 15 on the Billboard Hard Rock Chart, with the hit single 'Hate by Design' coming in at number 5 on SiriusXM Liquid Metal Devil's Dozen, and number 9 on SiriusXM Octane's Big 'Uns for the week of April 23rd.

Jamey Jasta's band "Hatebreed" released a new single and an official lyric video for 'A.D.' from their upcoming 7th album "The Concrete Confessional", due out May 13, 2016. 'A.D.' is already hitting Sirius XM's Liquid Metal hard, and debuted at number 4 on the Devil's Dozen on April 15th. Last year, Jamey Jasta killed it on Dirt Fest's main stage with his self-titled band "Jasta", so I can only imagine what the return of Hatebreed, along with a new album, is going to do Dirt Fest 2016.
